Ubuntu Inclusive Center is ‘Kwa-Thema Stimulation Center’ rebranded. Ubuntu Inclusive Centers emphasis is on educational daycare services for the 70- 80 children with profound disabilities enrolled at the facilities. The center is regulated by the Department of Health under the Mental Care Act.
The centre has close to 70 children with various profound intellectual disabilities like cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, hydrocephalus and cross disability. A combination of disabilities. We provide tailor programmes to meet the needs of our enrolled students.
We provide daycare educational services for children with profound disabilities which include 4 nutritious meals a day, and daily transportation services to and from the facility to the door of children.
Objective: To remove infrastructure, educational, and nutrition barriers for the children enrolled at our center.
The aim of the centre is to focus on the empowerment of every child with special disabilities, and to successfully integrate them into broader society and to ensure that their rights are respected.
